Joy Unspeakable & Full Of God's Shekinah Glory

Above all we are given a glimpse of heaven as being the place that is filled with God's presence  -  his shekinah glory, which is so brilliant that there is no need for any other source of light. In REVELATION 4-5 we are ushered into the very throne room of God, where all the angels and the redeemed are worshipping God the Father and Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God slain for sinners. It is a place of joy unspeakable and full of glory (1 PETER 1:1-12).

John's Vision Of A New Heaven & A New Earth

In REVELATION 21-22  the vision is completed with a glimpse of a new heaven and a new earth, and of Christ, the Alpha and Omega, welcoming the redeemed into God's presence.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendour into it. Its gates will never be shut, for there will be no night there. The glory and honour of the nations will be brought into it. Nothing unholy will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life. REVELATION 21:23-27

Even so LORD Jesus, come!
